Join our team as a Wastewater Technician at the Fresno Anaerobic Treatment System (FATS) facility, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimized performance and regulatory compliance of our wastewater, biogas, and cogeneration systems. We are looking for a dedicated individual to monitor operations, conduct laboratory tests, and support maintenance activities while embracing our culture of continuous improvement through Lean, Six-Sigma, Shingo, and World Class Maintenance practices. As a Wastewater Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring automated controls, maintaining electronic control and flow devices, and managing wastewater flows. You will learn to efficiently operate various FATS systems, including pumps, valves, bio-gas compressors, and the cogeneration system. Your role will also involve collecting water samples, conducting laboratory tests, and performing daily monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance. In addition to operational duties, you will support and coordinate maintenance activities, maintain inventory levels using the SAP ARIBA platform, and monitor tank levels. You will also be involved in sludge treatment processes and ensure the effective chemical treatment of water to meet all state and federal standards.
