Job Description Manufacturing Inventory Analyst 1801 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987 MANUF Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Manufacturing Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with our operations, manufacturing, sales, sourcing and purchasing teams to ensure we have inventory available and at the best cost for customers. You will work to improve our inventory management system by managing and analyzing data to optimize business processes. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Ensuring incoming and outgoing inventory meet lead time expectations o Collaborating with other teams to ensure inventory is available and accurately priced o Overseeing forecasting, costing and scheduling in an effort for continuous improvement o Analyzing data to effectively meet customer demand through capital investments o Developing a complete product portfolio for Fastenal o Managing necessary data to create, update and continually drive to improve production planning process o Contributing technical and business expertise to improve and enhance the inventory management system to optimize customer order fulfillment REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess at least 3 years of manufacturing work experience o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite o Highly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Possess a degree in education related to business and/or operations o Possess interest working in in both sales and operations ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers. FULL-TIME BENEFITS: Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution. COMPENSATION: The base pay range for this position is $45,000 - 52,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission. |
