Position Location: Position will be based in our Modesto Calfornia offices, with an option for occassional telecommuting. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.

Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for sales analytics? Join our team as a Sales Analytics Analyst, where you will support the Commercial Business Unit of Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) for Business Units. In this role, you will partner with Sales to manage forecasts and allocations using analytical tools and S&OP work processes, ensuring proper production and deployment plans to meet customer needs. You will collaborate across the organization with functional teams to establish key objectives and drive the Super Premium Business Plan.

As a Sales Analytics Analyst, you will leverage data gathered from Sales Systems and depletions analysis of volume trends, marketing and sales plans, and general market conditions to build demand forecasts using technical tools for data extraction, manipulation, and extrapolation. Working directly with Sales Planning and Channel Directors, you will provide sales analytics and understand key initiatives around distribution, promotions, and market trends.

You will maintain forecasting parameters within SAP IBP Demand Planning to generate accurate forecasts, balancing historical data with market intelligence. Coordinating and building consensus, you will develop production and deployment plans for successful new product launches. Your critical analysis will highlight SKU and geography gaps, enabling General Management to implement necessary corrective actions.

Supporting the S&OP - Demand Meeting process, you will provide insights on program lifts, effectiveness, and market intelligence. You will track new products, distributions, and velocity movement, monitor inventory levels, and make deployment recommendations to meet customer expectations. Managing inventory and product lifecycle, you will influence process adherence and present data-driven analysis to cross-functional teams.

Working closely with the Supply Chain team, you will participate in weekly progress meetings, ensuring communication between demand and supply teams. You will provide forecasts for monthly bottling plans and allocation recommendations, managing forecast error at the SKU/State level using Class A business processes. Your leadership in business analysis will improve forecast accuracy.

Participating in monthly S&OP- Demand Meetings, you will provide quarterly reports on depletions, sales trends, and analytics. Supporting the Demand Manager for all S&OP cycle meetings and contributing to the development of department procedures and performance measures, you will ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 years experience in forecasting, operations, supply chain, IT, accounting, finance analytical, or Sales and Marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years experience in forecasting, operations, supply chain, IT, accounting, finance analytical, or Sales and Marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience with MS Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, mathematics/statistics, business administration (accounting or finance) plus 5 years experience in forecasting, operations, supply chain, accounting, finance analytical, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting general market and economic conditions.
  • Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Experience reading and writing SQL queries, Python or other programming languages.
  • Experience with SAP, SAP IBP and ORI.
  • Experience with database structure and design.
  • Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers and customers.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience performing work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult in character, usually involving limited responsibility, requiring frequent evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge in the use of consumer media information/tools, spreadsheet software, extrapolation methods and data manipulation or has transferable technical strengths that support quick learning of forecasting tools.

Compensation:
  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $75,600 - $113,400 Annually
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
