Your Role

This position is responsible for performing analysis and research while maintaining corporate tax compliance. It will require the development of analysis tools and work on special projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare REIT, corporate, partnership and multi-state tax returns.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax provision workpapers.
  • Provide quality, timely and responsive services and work product.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts.
  • Discuss moderately complex tax issues with the engagement team.
  • Keep informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to our business.
  • Prepare practical and effective approaches to tax situations and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
  • Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals.
  • Assist in the development of recommendations and implementation plans and assist in making quality decisions in complex areas.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
  • 2+ years' work experience as a tax professional.
  • Excellent mathematical skills and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and tax deadlines.
  • CPA degree preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Strong written & verbal communication.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Corptax experience a plus.

The salary range for this role is $65,000-$72,000 per year. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate's experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New Jersey Salary Transparency Law.
