TEKsystems has a client that is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer who will work alongside internal customer team members and TEKsystems Global Service team members to help continue to build out their Azure Infrastructure environment and migrate all workloads from their on-prem data center to Azure. This person should have at least one year of experience working on Azure platform/infrastructure configuration, and should be able to write Terraform modules (at least one year of experience working with it consistently). Their landing zone has already been built and some of the foundational decisions have already been made, so this person does not need to have architect level experience, but should have enough experience to be able to get up to speed without significant ramp up and become an owner of this environment long term as the customer plans to convert this person to be a full time member of their team. The primary focus for this team for the rest of 2025 is the migration out of their data center. 2026 and beyond will focus on more modernization. The right candidate will be core infrastructure, not coming from the dev world. Windows strongly preferred as they do not use Linux. If someone is stronger on the networking side but has some systems experience, we can consider them. Skills Azure, Devops, Cloud, Terraform, windows, Kubernetes, AKS Additional Skills & Qualifications AKS experience would be nice to have as they are likely moving toward AKS in the future, but not a requirement. This person will need to have really strong communication skills - with them being newer in their cloud journey, there is still a lot of strategy being determined and collaboration across teams needed. Someone who prefers to be handed requirements to build or work in an established environment will not be the right fit. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
