Description
Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Under general supervision, keeps complete and systematic sets of records of operations of the Company, examining and recording the transactions in proper record books and on special forms. Is responsible for operation of one or more warehouses, receives, checks and stores materials; fills requisitions on stores; originates requisitions for Purchasing Department to replenish warehouse stock or for special material needed. Under general supervision, and with some latitude for planning or laying out of working details, is able to perform average and responsible work in connection with drafting and technical work in field or office; prepares dimension drawings; makes routine estimates and keeps map records; should be qualified to do the following and related work as assigned: prepare to scale drawings and tracings of gas systems, machinery, structural parts and apparatus; prepare bill of materials from detailed drawings; make routine line extension sketches and estimates; make field inspections and reports on construction work; prepare estimating cost data; perform and assist in general and miscellaneous work in and out of the office.
