Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $44,200 - Midpoint: $55,300 (Salaried E6) Department/Organization: 212501 - Ed Leadership/Policy/Tech Studies Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; may vary based on needs. Job Summary: The Research Project Coordinator supports the overall development of research project (s). Assists with project design, management, and implementation. Promotes the project and serves as liaison between the project and contacts internal and external to the University. May supervise students, provide general office assistance, create promotional materials, and assist in the development of other potential projects. Additional Department Summary: The Department of Educational Leadership focuses on the development of educational leaders in different fields and houses programs in Educational Leadership, Higher Education Administration, Instructional Technology, and Social and Cultural Foundations. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher and some experience coordinating projects. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Educational Leadership (or successful dissertation defense no later than May 31st, 2025). Skills and Knowledge: Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and parents to support individual student success. Knowledge of school leadership strategies for improving student achievement, as demonstrated through dissertation research, publications, and conference presentations. Demonstrated advanced quantitative and qualitative research skills. Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Instructional experience in higher education. Familiarity with the Alabama educational contexts. Experience with leader or teacher professional development. Experience in analyzing complex data for theory-building.
