*Description*
Our Client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer that is skilled with the implementation of VMware from the ground up. This is a hands on engineering role focused on building, maintaining, and automating infrastructure platforms. The ideal candidate is a technical generalist with deep expertise, a proactive mindset, and a passion for innovation. Key Responsibilities *Build and manage VMware platforms, including NSX for SDN *Develop and maintain Windows and Linux OS templates *Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Bash, etc. *Support container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes preferred) *Work with physical hardware, networking, and storage provisioning *Collaborate with internal teams to support lab infrastructure Required Technical Skills *VMware (vSphere, NSX) *Windows & Linux OS engineering and automation *PowerShell scripting (from scratch) *Infrastructure as Code (Terraform is a plus) *Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes and Azure/GCP *Skills* Windows, Vmware, Automation, Cloud, Powershell, Bash, containerization, GCP, AZURE *Top Skills Details* Windows,Vmware,Automation,Cloud,Powershell,Bash *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Soft Skills *Strong work ethic and self-motivation *Passion for IT and continuous learning *Adaptability and ability to wear multiple hats *Excellent communication and collaboration Notes: *Location: Onsite (5 days/week expected; hybrid may be considered later) *References: Two managerial references required before submission *Resume Accuracy: Candidates must be able to speak to all listed experience Culture Fit: Energetic, driven, and eager to learn. *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $57.00/hr.
