Are you detail-driven and passionate about real estate law? We're looking for a Legal Mortgage Title Clerk to support real estate transactions by reviewing and verifying property titles and mortgage documentation. In this role, you'll help ensure the legal accuracy of deeds, title reports, and lien releases while coordinating with attorneys, lenders, and title companies. Your expertise will play a key role in helping clients move through property sales, refinancing, and ownership transfers with confidence and compliance. Schedule: 8am - 5pm Pay Rate: $18 - $22/hr. Key Responsibilities: Review real estate legal documents including deeds, mortgages, and lien releases Prepare and verify clear title reports for transactions Resolve title issues in collaboration with real estate professionals Maintain accurate data in title and mortgage systems Record documents with courts and county offices Assist in preparing closing documentation and disclosures Track deadlines and ensure regulatory compliance Qualifications: High school diploma required; degree in Legal Studies or Real Estate preferred 2+ years of experience in legal title work or mortgage services Knowledge of title insurance, eRecording, lien priority, and foreclosure processes Strong communication skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office and title management software (SoftPro, RamQuest, or ResWare) Notary Public certification is a plus We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k options, life and disability insurance, Earned Wage Access (access a portion of your earned wages before your payday), employee discount programs, referral bonus potential, unmatched professional development, and more!
