Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)? We're seeking a Program Coordinator to facilitate impactful, goal-oriented vocational opportunities-with the potential to help participants transition into competitive, integrated employment.

This position plays a key role in coordinating programming, supporting skill development, and ensuring participants are set up for success. The ideal candidate is collaborative, purpose-driven, emotionally intelligent, and possesses strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Facilitate structured vocational programs that support skill-building and employment readiness
  • Oversee and maintain daily operations of the program and skills training
  • Monitor associate progress via Job Coaches
  • Supervise and support Job Coach responsibilities
  • Input and track associate assessment data
  • Regularly communicate and gain final approval (as needed) from the Program Director and Associate Services Department
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files related to the program
  • Draft policies, procedures, and processes for the program (subject to CEO approval)
  • Collect and analyze program data; prepare related reports for evaluation and improvement
  • Bridge communication between internal staff and external partners/facilities
  • Share updates on schedules, complaints/issues, and program changes
  • Promote and uphold company values, ethics, and a respectful work environment
  • Support individuals with IDD in developing skills that promote independence and potential employment transition


Requirements:



  • Minimum 3 years of experience in vocational programming, sheltered workshops, or industry-related supervision
  • High school diploma required; BS/BA with coursework in Psychology, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, or Applied Behavioral Analysis preferred
  • Experience or strong willingness to work with diverse populations and individuals with disabilities
  • Emotionally intelligent, unbiased, and solution-oriented with strong conflict resolution skills
  • Professional demeanor-trustworthy, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to lead by example
  • Willingness to learn contract management and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer literacy
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for creating opportunity through meaningful work
