We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the architectural strategy, platform governance, and technical execution across our Global Sales and Marketing application ecosystem. As a key leader within digital organization, you will serve as a strategic partner to both business and IT stakeholders-shaping scalable, secure, and customer-centric solutions across platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud, modern web technologies, and other connected systems. You will play a pivotal role in aligning technology with business goals, driving architectural excellence, and ensuring the long-term success of our digital platforms and digital customer experience.

Our Team

The Digital Sales and Marketing team at Molex is a globally distributed group of architects, developers, and business technologists who support the Global Sales and Marketing organization. We collaborate closely across regions and functions to design and deliver platforms and services that enhance business efficiency, scalability, and usability across the enterprise. Practicing an Agile Scrum methodology, our team operates in fast-paced, iterative sprints to develop solutions that evolve with our customers' needs. Through tight collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, we ensure a seamless and connected customer experience-from the first digital touchpoint to long-term engagement and support. We are passionate about building resilient, secure, and user-focused platforms that drive measurable business outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Architectural Leadership
    • Define and maintain the enterprise architecture blueprint for Sales and Marketing platforms.
    • Develop reference architectures, integration patterns, and data flow models to support customer-facing digital solutions.
  • Platform Expertise
    • Lead the design and integration of CRM and digital marketing platforms, including Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud, and competitors such as HubSpot, Oracle CX, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP Customer Experience, and Sitecore.
    • Evaluate and recommend modern web technologies for global website platforms and marketing automation capabilities.
  • API & Integration Strategy
    • Architect secure, scalable APIs for customer and partner access using RESTful services, OAuth, and API Gateway solutions.
    • Establish best practices for API lifecycle management, developer enablement, and versioning strategies.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Alignment
    • Utilize deep expertise in the AWS technology stack (e.g., Lambda, S3, RDS, EC2, CloudFront, IAM) to drive cloud-native architectural decisions.
    • Optimize cloud solutions for performance, cost, scalability, and security.
  • Data Architecture
    • Define data models, flows, and governance structures to support global Sales and Marketing analytics.
    • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure high-quality, accessible, and compliant data pipelines and integrations.
  • Security & Privacy
    • Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
    • Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to enforce secure-by-design principles in all architecture deliverables.
  • Agile & Delivery Alignment
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams using Agile Scrum methodologies, providing architectural guidance through sprints and program increments.
    • Champion agile ways of working and contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and technical enablement.
  • Collaboration & Governance
    • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Business leaders to align roadmaps, projects, and strategic priorities.
    • Participate in architecture review boards and provide guidance on solution-level designs and vendor selections.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles with a focus on Sales, Marketing, or Customer Experience technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's preferred.
  • Proficient in designing for cloud-native architecture on AWS, including cost optimization, resiliency, and security best practices.
  • Strong experience in API strategy and development, including API management platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, AWS API Gateway).
  • Solid understanding of enterprise databases, including relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) systems.
  • Working knowledge of modern website architectures, CMS platforms, and SEO/UX considerations.
  • Familiarity with global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and enterprise-grade security frameworks.
  • Proven ability to bridge technical and business teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's preferred.
  • Experience in crafting and implementing technology strategies that seamlessly integrate and advance Sales and Marketing objectives.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience within Manufacturing.
  • Experience with Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud or other Salesforce industry clouds.
  • Salesforce certifications.
  • Experience with other SaaS or Web Technologies.
  • Experience working within Agile Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced delivery settings.

For this role, we anticipate paying $165,000 - $185,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
