The Scheduling Supervisor position supports the Blood Center by managing the scheduling of clinical personnel, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and smooth workflow. The anticipated salary starts at $58,500 per hour and is commensurate with experience. In addition, Miller-Keystone offers the following to all full-time employees:

What you will be doing:



  • Creates and maintains schedules for Collections department staff and needs of the blood Center
  • Ensures adequate staffing levels for various shifts
  • Manages employee time-off requests and payroll, maintains accurate scheduling records, and uses scheduling systems to adjust staffing levels and ensures adequate coverage during absences, call-offs, or unexpected events.
  • Coordinates and communicates staff schedules, address related inquiries, and collaborates with departments such as Donor Resources to ensure seamless operations.


What you will bring to the role:



  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required with additional education preferred.
  • A Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional certification (PMI-SP) is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Blood Center or other Healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in a Clerical or Administrative role is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to effectively interact with a diverse employee population and communicate is required (verbal, written, and listening).
  • Proficient with scheduling systems such as Outlook, HRIS and Payroll systems. Isolved experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities, solve problems, and make decisions, seeking guidance as necessary.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and scheduling best practices.


Additional information:

This position reports directly to the Donor Collections Director and will work the following schedule:

Mon-Fri 8am-4 at the Bethlehem location and this position works a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, and on-call to cover weekends and holidays

Ability to lift or carry up to 30lbs is necessary.
