Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • Record vital signs, medical histories, and relevant information with precision.

  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist during clinical procedures.

  • Manage communication with pharmacies, patients, and insurance companies.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and medical regulations to ensure patient and staff safety.

  • Empathy and a patient-focused approach

  • Team player with the ability to work independently.

  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to new challenges.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficient in medical terminology and electronic health records.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

  1. Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting.
  2. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current.
  3. Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization required.
  4. 1 year experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting, preferred
