Field Logistics & Labor Supervisor

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Supervise and deploy general laborers and punch technicians across multiple projects

• Drive company vehicles and safely tow trailers to transport tools, materials, and equipment

• Perform daily vehicle/equipment inspections; maintain logs and schedule servicing

• Load, stock, and transport materials to and from the shop and job sites

• Place material/tool orders and manage field and shop inventory

• Operate certified equipment (e.g., forklift, skid steer, mower) as needed

• Enforce PPE usage and maintain safety standards on all assigned sites

• Submit daily reports detailing labor deployment, equipment use, and material movement

• Report and document safety violations, incidents, and near-misses per company policy

• Support the Shop Project Manager with scheduling, logistics planning, and labor coordination

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Aid in shop & yard organization

• Mentor New Laborers

• Support with light administrative duties

• Temporarily fill in for Job Site Supervision

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license with a clear driving record for the past 3-5 years

• Ability to pull and maneuver trailers loaded with tools or materials

• OSHA 10

• Physically capable of lifting and carrying 50-100 lbs regularly

• Equipment operation certification preferred (forklift, skid steer, etc.)

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in construction labor or logistics

• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
