New Goods Warehouse Associate

Represents Goodwill and corporation to public; dress and actions must make a favorable impression. Assists with material handling. Assists with loading, unloading, and transporting products on and off the warehouse floor. Will operate pallet wrapper and forklift (if needed). Assists with maintaining the cleanliness of warehouse facility.

Requirements

• Ability to work with people having different abilities.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks independently.
• Must have the ability to achieve forklift certification (after training if needed).
• Knowledge of Excel and interpreting spreadsheets.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate in English as is necessary to work efficiently as a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
• Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, or carry for extended periods.
• Able to move 20-100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or with mechanical assistance.
• Able to go up and down steps and inclines.
• Tolerance of extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
• Must be willing to work evenings and/or weekends to satisfy store needs.
• All positions require the completion of a background check. Acknowledging or having criminal convictions does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.

Experience

• High School/Equivalent
• 0-2 years
