Responsibilities

The role of the Admissions Representative is to answer incoming calls, obtain demographic and insurance information from the callers, speak to basic program information, qualify Leads, and convert Leads to Pre-Admissions (Cases) for handoff to Admissions Coordinators.

Essential Duties:

  • Follow up with department voicemails/abandoned calls, Treatment Consultant calls, and lead/web inquiries and assign them to Coordinators once contact is made.
  • Track types of calls on Call Tracking.
  • Send out shift reports, when appropriate.
  • Answer general phone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Speak intelligibly and accurately about our programs and how they relate to the caller.
  • Work well with a team and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Expedient data entry of client demographics and insurance information.
  • Transfer calls as necessary.
  • Understand when a case is high profile or an urgent admission (based on family commitment and available beds) and to communicate effectively with Admissions Coordinators.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Behavioral health experience.
  • Call center experience.
