For more information about the company and product line visit: www.sigsauer.com Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer I will be responsible for overseeing and improving the manufacturing processes for CNC machined rifle and pistol components. The Manufacturing Engineer I will design new processes from start to finish including machine selection, fixtures, gages, tooling, control plans, work instructions, tool life studies, and heat treat studies. Responsible for identifying areas for improvement and cost savings analysis. Must maintain elevated levels of organization and project management to ensure on-time delivery and product quality and determine problem resolutions and implement improvements. The Manufacturing Engineer I will develop detailed layouts and routings for equipment, processes, and workflow, research and develop new processes, equipment, and products, maintain research, activity documentation, and preparing reports, and ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
