Position Title: Welder
Wage: $25.00 - $35.00/hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm Are you looking for a company in Waupaca, WI that embraces values and is family owned? Welder Responsibilities: - Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements - Prepare materials by cutting, forming and aligning metal components - Perform welding operations using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding - Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications - Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition - Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion within deadlines - Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment - Document work progress and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors Requirements for Welder: - 2+ years of welding experience using various welding methods such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding - Hands-on experience in cutting, shaping, and preparing metal components - Vocational or trade school courses in welding, metal fabrication preferred - CNC Press Brake experience is a plus - Experience in reading and understanding blueprints - Familiarity with safety protocols and practices to maintain a safe working environment - Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Knowledge of metal properties and welding processes - Strong attention to detail and quality control - Physical stamina and dexterity to handle welding equipment and materials; able to lift up to 50lbs - Problem-solving skills to address welding challenges and ensure precision - Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors - Understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to welding operations appleton@qpsemployment.com IND042 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
