Overview

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor, Diagnostic Scheduling.

Salary Range: $50,000-$64,000

Responsibilities

Responsible for coordination and operation of scheduling functions for diagnostic testing. Acts as a liaison with physicians, patients and office staff. Responsible for development, administration and oversight of scheduling procedures for all diagnostic testing. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Oversees all diagnostic testing scheduling functions at multiple locations.

-Recruits, hires and supervises up to twelve diagnostic scheduling staff in addition to developing and attaining performance goals and objectives. Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.

-Provides assistance and coverage as required.
-Prepares and conducts training sessions with staff as needed.

-Develops and maintains a professional department that assists the organization toward its goal of improving cost-effectiveness of health care delivery.
-Acts as liaison between physicians, administration, and business departments.


Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Seven years of medical office experience. Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.

Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, operate a calculator, telephone, copier and other such office equipment. Vision must be correctable to 20/20 and hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts. It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for prolonged periods of time.
