We are seeking a dynamic, patient-centered PRN CT Technologist to join our premier cancer treatment team in Mid-Missouri.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Perform state-of-the-art diagnostic CT scans, including starting IVs, injecting contrast, and ensuring precise imaging.
  • Collaborate with our front office team to streamline workflow and enhance patient scheduling.
  • Uphold safety standards according to ACR, ARRT, and ASRT guidelines, ensuring protection for patients and staff.
  • Engage in quality control measures to maintain top-notch scanner and equipment performance.
  • Manage patient order workups and facilitate seamless data transfers to PACs.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school.
  • Minimum five years experience as a CT/MRI Technologist.Certification as a registered radiologic technologist (ARRT) required.
  • Current IV and CPR certifications required.
  • Certification in CT and MRI strongly preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or the ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire.
  • Knowledge and experience with patient scheduling and billing systems.

Lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifts and pushes patients in wheelchairs/stretchers weighing up to 300 pounds and places in appropriate positions for operation of equipment. Requires ability to reach above shoulder height. Requires sitting/standing for extensive periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
