Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting and assuring accurate preparation of division operating and capital budgets, serves as support for operational departments, and assists in ongoing variance and financial reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepares accurate reports and financial analysis within prescribed time frames.
  • Leads administrative department variance reviews, provides answers to process questions, and provides comparative analyses.
  • Identifies and proposes solutions to budget issues and reports unresolved issues.
  • Ongoing financial support of operating departments and assists in support of Service Lines.
  • Collaborates with all areas to complete work and participate in process improvement.
  • Supports the variance reporting process, including the research of moderately complex variances.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field or equivalent professional experience required.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Three years of experience in accounting or finance involving the analysis of financial statements and reports or equivalent experience in a health setting required. Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
