Adjunct Faculty, ELSA Coaching

The Elmhurst Learning and Success Academy ( ELSA) is a four-year certificate program for students with disabilities. We are seeking an individual to teach Educational Coaching. This course allows students to develop and practice advocacy skills based on individual needs to receive resource support with course assignments, research, planning, time management, organizational skills for campus life, and problem-solving strategies. The course will be offered:

To be a successful ELSA Adjunct, candidates should be invested in being collaborative, possess the desire to work in higher education, and must be open to working with students with varying abilities.

Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Class offerings are primarily during the day (between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM). See Job Summary for specific information for the upcoming academic year.
