Summary
The Community & Government Relations Job Family is collectively responsible for building and maintaining proactive, mutually beneficial relationships with local, state, and federal elected officials; regulatory bodies; community and environmental; Business and Economic development stakeholders with the goal of ensuring the Power Authority's reputation and benefiting all New Yorkers. This job family provides expertise in navigating established processes and contributes knowledge of their respective subject matters. Conducts outreach to internal groups and external entities, communicates and shares information with them, and briefs other NYPA business units and executive staff. Develops and implements initiative and actively participates with other NYPA business units in developing further actions Participates in and coordinates community outreach to enhance the organization's image in a positive and community-oriented manner. Plans and executes projects aimed at improving the economic, social, and/or environmental quality of life in communities. The estimated salary range for this position is: $83,000-$114,400. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
