The hourly pay range for this role is estimated to be $19-$23 per hour at the time of the posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, student classification/year of study, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building and testing agentic frameworks that interact with real-world warehouse datasets
  • Develop and prompt large language models (LLMs) or multimodal agents to perform specific warehouse automation tasks
  • Create tools and workflows to orchestrate multi-agent decision making, task planning, and execution
  • Design and implement integration of AI agents into broader system architectures, collaborating with platform, infrastructure, and other software engineers to ensure seamless deployment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with Python and at least one AI/ML library such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and use of frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
  • Understanding of basic reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, or agent-based modeling
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a strong desire to apply AI to industrial use cases

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using GenAI tools such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or open-source LLMs
  • Exposure to simulation environments like OpenAI Gym, Unity, Isaac Sim, or NVIDIA Omniverse
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
  • Prior coursework or research in agentic systems, computer vision, or digital twins
