As a Loss Prevention/Security Lead Officer, you play an integral part in creating an environment that is safe and comfortable for our guests and associates, as well as detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other unlawful behavior. What you will be doing: * Monitor hotel security by patrolling premises, reviewing surveillance footage, and responding promptly to emergencies, and suspicious activities. * Enforce policies and procedures, including safety checks, ID verification, and compliance with OSHA and brand standards. * Complete incident reports, including investigating security issues, handling guest disputes, and documenting detailed reports and logs. * Oversee Lost and Found operations and ensure accurate record-keeping through systems like Charger-back. * Guide staff on emergency procedures, security protocols, and customer service during high-stress situations. * Support hotel operations, assisting front desk, bell staff, and transporting guests as needed while maintaining high guest service standards. * Participate in safety initiatives, inspections, audits, and meetings to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and associates. What we are looking for: * High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality, guest service, or security experience preferred. * Strong attention to detail and the ability to observe and respond to emergency situations. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills, including fluency in English (spoken and written). * Proven ability to handle guest and employee concerns with empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving. * Physically able to stand, walk, move continuously, and remain alert throughout long shifts. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record per company policy. * Professional appearance and demeanor with strong telephone etiquette and customer service presence. * Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays, with the ability to perform well under pressure.
