No 3rd Parties The employer will not be sponsoring visa applicants for this position Hybrid Dallas/Fort Worth Candidates Only Job Summary: I am working with a client in Dallas that is looking for a skilled Developer responsible for the development, testing, and technical design of new product offerings and enhancements. The role involves utilizing ASP.NET Web Forms in VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML, SQL Server (stored procedures and functions), and AWS APIs (AWS Lambda with JavaScript, EventBridge, API Gateway, CloudFormation). The Developer will support existing applications and collaborate with QA, Product Management, and Customer Care teams to troubleshoot and implement effective solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new applications, enhancements, and resolve bugs in existing products independently or collaboratively.
- Ensure implementations comply with department policies, standards, and technical specifications.
- Perform comprehensive unit testing to verify accurate implementation of requirements.
- Participate in technical design discussions, ensuring proper identification and implementation of business rules.
- Engage in regular code reviews, sharing knowledge and insights gained from development projects.
- Prepare thorough deployment and implementation documentation to support successful promotion and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and effectively resolve system issues reported by stakeholders.
- Foster team growth by sharing expertise and mentoring peers.
- Maintain cooperative, professional interactions with colleagues, management, and customers through open, honest, and constructive communication, respectful and courteous treatment of all stakeholders, and proactive resolution of concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical industry experience.
- Minimum of five years of software development experience.
- Proficient in developing web applications using ASP.NET Web Forms in VB, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Skilled in creating backend solutions with SQL Server (stored procedures, functions).
- Experienced in client-side coding techniques utilizing JavaScript and jQuery.
- Hands-on experience developing AWS APIs using AWS Lambda (JavaScript), EventBridge, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with software design principles and documentation tools.
- Experience working in an Agile Framework development environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, proactively initiate tasks, and efficiently manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong teamwork orientation and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
Estimated Min Rate: $95000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $110000.00
