As a Security Professional - Financial Site in Weehawken, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, managing visitor logs, and helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attentiveness. You will utilize computer or tablet systems for access control and badge management, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees at the front desk, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and managing visitor logs according to site-specific policies.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate with building management and emergency services when appropriate, following established procedures.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or potential concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support customer service by addressing inquiries and providing information as needed.
• Follow all site-specific policies and procedures related to security and emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• NJ Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
