Security Professional - Armed Aero Patrol

As a Security Professional - Armed Aero Patrol in Linthicum Heights, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and attention to detail. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $22.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors in an aerospace and defense environment.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the location, maintaining detailed records as required.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt patrol routes or response strategies as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet AU Driver Policy requirements.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
