Hours: Monday-Friday, 5:00pm-2:00am

Overall Summary

Responsible for directing the activities of receiving inspection, product release and x-ray inspection. Interface with various departments such as Manufacturing and Engineering, determine and record inspection criteria, methods and equipment.

Your duties will include:



  1. Supervise hourly quality control personnel for all inspection areas.
  2. Train and develop inspectors to increase their expertise and productivity.
  3. Determine and document acceptance and rejection criteria.
  4. Communicate with other departments within the company and with outside contacts.
  5. Determine inspection gaging and equipment requirements for general and specific product applications.
  6. Record, interpret and suggest corrective action for product complaints.
  7. Manage personnel and expenses concerning the departmental budget.
  8. Write procedures that relate to quality control functions.

About You

  • Ability to lead, communicate and produce results.
  • Knowledge of functional gaging and application techniques, read engineering specifications, understanding geometric tolerancing.
  • Working knowledge of sampling techniques.
  • Knowledge of liquid penetrant and x-ray inspection.
  • Ability to investigate product complaints.



YOUR EDUCATION

Required: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Minimum one year experience in a quality supervisory role

Visual acuity requirements apply to the role, including peripheral, color, and depth perception.
