As a Security Professional - Distribution Site in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure atmosphere. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing excellent customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team and upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. This role is ideal for individuals who are attentive, approachable, and committed to supporting a secure and welcoming location.

Pay Rate: $17.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Carry out screening procedures and follow site-specific policies at logistics and distribution locations.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors as they enter or exit the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items through thorough screening processes.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and site management to address concerns and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
