In Henderson, Nevada:

Allied Universal is hiring a Armed Cleared Security Officer. At Allied Universal, the Armed Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As an Armed Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

Hiring for a Temporary On-Call Security Officer to transition into a Full Time Permanent Security Officer.

Ideal candidate must:

Must have minimum of 3 years of verifiable ARMED employment OR equivalent military, LEO, or CO.
• Possess an Active DoD Clearance
• Have an Active NV PILB guard card
• Preferrably possess CPR, Pepper spray, and Handcuffing certifications
• Possess Access control and badging expertise
• Ability to lift 20 pounds or more

• Demonstrate Excellent Customer Service Skills

• Have Proficiency in using computers and tablets

Pay Rate: $26.65 hourly when fully qualified and Active Security Clearance.

Schedule: Weekdays and Weekends, afternoons and overnights as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or GED
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience
• Must be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance
• Must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs

*A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Additional Requirements:

• Must have Verifiable DoD Security Clearance
• Must have or be able to successfully pass: Criminal Background Check, Physical Fitness Test, MMPI-3, AUS Firearms Academy, FA/AED/CPR Training, and 10-panel urinalysis
• Must have PILB Armed License
