Job Overview:

The Assistant Vice President is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and implementing all aspects of the Quality and Regulatory compliance program as well as oversight of the Education and Infection Control programs at Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor s Degree required in nursing or health related field. Master s Degree in healthcare field preferred.
  • Minimum five years clinical, management or related experience required. Behavioral Health experience preferred.
  • Proficient Excel/Word/Power Point skills required.
  • Must possess strong clinical skills, planning skills and policy development skills; experience in direct working relationships with physicians in a healthcare setting or a managed care environment.
  • Minimum five years clinical, management or related regulatory compliance experience required.

Preferred:

  • Master s Degree in healthcare field preferred.
  • Behavioral Health experience preferred.

Essential Functions:

  • Actively participates in committee based on organizational needs and
  • Assists in the coordination of all aspects of survey preparation,
  • Assists in the coordination of all aspects of survey preparation, coordination, management and post-survey follow-up for all regulatory agencies for the Barnabas Behavioral Health Center.
  • Ensures the management of the Joint Commission Extranet site for the facility including the application, PPR process, complaints, and all post-survey activity.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of guidelines and new methods to address new regulatory requirements and deficiencies.
  • Acts as a regulatory liaison to other BH sites during regulatory visits as needed.
  • Works with clinical leaders to prepare corrective action plans and conducts follow-up as indicated.
  • Ensures organizational awareness of The Joint Commission Sentinel Event
  • Maintains and demonstrates current knowledge of accreditation
  • Oversees all ongoing activities related to the development,
