The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (
GSAPP) at Rutgers University-New Brunswick invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor faculty position as Program Director of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (
MTSS) in the School Psychology Department. We welcome applicants with specialized knowledge and experience in
MTSS development and implementation, as well as knowledge and skills related to professional practices in school contexts. Applicants with post-secondary teaching experience are encouraged to apply. Broadly speaking, successful applicants will also show the capacity to contribute to the mission and goals of
GSAPP and the professional community.
GSAPP's School Psychology Department has two distinct degree programs (
APA-accredited and
NASP-approved Psy.D. program in school psychology, and an online master's degree in applied psychology in
MTSS), as well as an 18-credit graduate online certificate program in
MTSS. The most competitive candidates will be able to lead and expand admissions for
MTSS programs, drive marketing efforts, oversee curriculum development within the program, and teach existing or new coursework in
MTSS. In general, responsibilities include leadership for
MTSS programs, online asynchronous teaching, student advising, dissertation committee membership, and unit and departmental service (e.g., committees, admissions, student review).

The minimum qualifications to be considered for this position include a doctoral degree in Education, Educational Psychology, School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Counseling Psychology. Candidates who are
ABD will be considered; however, completion of the doctoral degree by the start date is required for hire.

Minimum Education and Experience |
A doctoral degree in Education, Educational Psychology, School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Counseling Psychology.
