POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Solutions, LLC is thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic Senior Management Analyst to join our team in supporting the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Command Operations Support Division (V11) at Patuxent River, MD. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong analytical, writing, and editing skills to contribute to the creation of various organizational documents, including directives, presentations, reports, publications, and point papers.

In this role, you will manage high-visibility, high-priority, and time-sensitive support for executive military and civilian personnel. The position requires frequent independent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to effectively prioritize competing tasks. You must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with all organizational levels, manage multiple projects, conduct organizational studies and evaluations, and document processes and procedures, including simplification and measurement studies.

As a management analyst, you will be actively involved in the day-to-day business operations, exercising discretion and judgment to direct, gather, and formulate data calls to subordinate executive departments within the Command Operations Group. You will make recommendations to the Senior Executive based on your judgment, although you will not necessarily be the final decision-maker.

The core focus of this position is the day-to-day operations, providing support and consultation to the Senior Executive and their subordinate activities. You will frequently handle ad hoc and emergent tasks based on Naval Aviation priorities, requiring independent decision-making, task prioritization, and the distribution of actions within the organization based on subject matter expertise.



  • Apply analytical, writing, and editing skills to produce or contribute to directives, presentations, reports, and publications and point papers.
  • Use organizational skills for establishing, validating and tracking command goals, actions and issues.
  • Provide executive administrative support; plan and document SES/Flag conferences & meetings: prepare flag award documentation; execute data calls for program and technical content; research and assemble command-wide accomplishments.
  • Coordinating meetings, keeping meetings on track, recording minutes and actions items.
  • Enable appropriate prioritization of calendar, phone calls, schedule and workload considerations for all participants.
  • Support executive level meetings, primary point of contact and facilitator of meetings, and conferences held within the Management Information Center (MIC)
  • Provide correspondence support as required and ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained.
  • Work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials
  • Provide ad hoc support for senior leadership, as needed.
  • Operate within the basis Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and other systems (SharePoint and DTS) daily

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous, and complex contracts, program, and business development events.
  • This position is critical for ensuring the success of the contract and requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a dynamic environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree is required, with 3+ years of experience with analysis, editing and writing
  • US citizenship
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, a highly motivated self-starter
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Expertise in MS Office, with emphasis on Word and Power Point
  • Familiarity with the Navy, including aviation programs and protocol of high-ranking military officers
  • Clearance: Secret - eitheran activeDoD Secret Security Clearance, or one inactivatedwithin the last 24 months which is eligible for re-activation
