Job Purpose
The Operation Unit associate will support and coordinate division lead activity for associates under the Purchasing Technical Division to include compliance, associate development, strategic planning, business plan development and monthly/quarterly reporting. Responsible to assess areas of involvement, make recommendations and advise on options, risks, and costs.
Key Accountabilities
- Document business requirements for projects, make priority recommendations, and advise on business options, risks, and costs. Review, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs and documents findings.
- Lead projects as assigned to Strategic Planning associates, including CRF analysis.
- Support and prepare team KPI and business plan reporting, lead facilitation of division lead Strategic Planning meetings.
- Analyze and ensure compliance to company and division training requirements. Evaluate training gaps and make proposals based on findings.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs and documents findings.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent relevant experience.
- 0-2 years of related experience based on education (preferred 2 years' experience).
- Experience in the Honda Learning Center (HLC).
- Communication skills (written and verbal).
- Presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet critical deadlines.

- Create proposals for projects as they relate to job functions.
- Propose training recommendations based on gap analysis.
- Influence and assist in business plan process.
Working Conditions
- ~5 hrs OT/ week.
