Job Description:

The School District of Milton is seeking a dynamic individual for a full-time Teaching and Learning Coach (1.0 FTE). As an instructional leader, the Teaching and Learning Coach will support the elementary level of the implementation of a robust, comprehensive, and aligned curricular program within a multi-tiered system of support. Key Responsibilities:

* Instructional Leadership: Support the development, refinement, and implementation of effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.

* Curriculum Support: Ensure the curriculum is comprehensive, aligned to standards, and consistently implemented across all grade levels.

* Equitable Multi-Level Systems of Support (EMLSS): Assist in designing and implementing EMLSS frameworks to address and meet the diverse academic and behavioral needs of all students.

* Mentoring New Teachers: Provide ongoing mentorship to new teachers, offering guidance, support, coaching, and professional development to foster their growth and integration into the school community.

* Professional Development: Plan, coordinate, and deliver professional development sessions focused on best practices, innovative instructional techniques, and emerging educational trends.

* Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Teaching & Learning team, classroom teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote a positive, student-centered learning environment.

* Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret student achievement data to inform instructional practices, identify areas for growth, and support continuous student improvement.

* Continuous Improvement: Actively participate on school leadership teams to support continuous improvement efforts and engage in professional learning to remain current with educational research and best practices.

This position begins in August 2025, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team in shaping the future success of our students. We provide a competitive starting salary of $48,816 (based on the 2024-25 matrix) for a 190-day contract, available to candidates with a Bachelor's degree. Additional compensation is available for those with prior public education teaching experience and further education beyond a bachelor's degree, with adjustments for the 2025-2026 contract year to be determined. Qualifications:

The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who can actively engage teaching staff in the learning process and has a strong understanding of educational systems. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional ability to foster meaningful and productive conversations focused on overall student achievement. Candidates should be organized, flexible, and possess strong communication skills. Opportunities for co-curricular coaching and advisor positions may be available. The candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues, contribute positively and substantially to the school and district, and take on a leadership role in implementing district initiatives. High energy, a positive attitude, compassion for others, and knowledge of student-centered coaching models are essential.

Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) year of successful elementary school experience.

Experience with curriculum standards, standards-based grading and reporting, Responsive Classroom, and I-Ready is preferred.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in Regular Education - 1777 or any other teaching certification.
