Overview

Axient is seeking an Intelligence Analyst - GEOINT in support of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) for a joint initiative chartered with the Services to analyze the hardest military challenges facing the U.S. and our Allies; and to develop experiments to provide future warfighting architectures to address these challenges through:


* Change the current warfighting paradigm of reliance on a Service-specific and platform centric force into one that operates as a disaggregated kill web that is able to execute rapidly composable, joint, and all domain kill chains.
* Exploit both existing and emerging technologies across the Services, to address known capability gaps, opportunities, and threats.

* Conducting mission-centric, multi-Service and multi-domain analyses, modeling and simulation (M&S), and experimentation to inform research and development (R&D), and program of record recommendations.

A current TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.

The successful candidates will:

* Exploiting and analyzing data collected with remote sensing technologies to develop and maintain IPOE, aiding in target development, monitor and report I&W, and enhancing and refining reporting on adversary OR&D.
* Thoroughly researching and reviewing imagery libraries to verify suitable coverage to satisfy national and theater collection or exploitation requirements.
* Routinely demonstrate expertise and technical proficiency in the use of ELT, MI processing and exploitation tools, and GIS applications to support analytic efforts and product development.
* Fuse multidiscipline intelligence sources to provide accurate and timely geospatial analysis.
* Collect, analyze and disseminating geospatial information to represent terrain and its effect through GEOINT.
* Assist command or senior leadership in the visualization of the battlespace through analyses of overhead and aerial imagery developed by photographic and electronic means to provide critical or time-sensitive information on enemy forces, potential battle areas, and/or combat operations support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Required: BS in scientific or technological discipline

  • Preferred: MS in scientific or technological discipline

  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly
  • A minimum of 7 years supporting a diverse team of intelligence analysts in a collaborative environment and interface with the government customer on deliverables, requirements, collection strategies or postures, and intelligence production pertinent to GEOINT.
  • Experience in the USINDOPACOM AOR and against a regional peer adversary is highly desired.
