FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, On-call every 6 weeks Position Summary The Supervisor of Hospital Social Work (SW) is responsible to provide immediate oversight, support, and direction to assigned emergency department and inpatient SW work teams. The SW Supervisor acts as the primary designee in the absence of the Manager or Director, assuming additional responsibilities as delegated. This position is also responsible for serving as a liaison with clinical leadership and other stakeholders for decision-making, problem-solving, and specific projects. The Supervisor serves as a role model and change agent, supporting the Manager or Director by supervising daily operations and providing timely feedback to support and maintain quality patient care in an efficient, productive and healthy work environment. In addition, the Supervisor may carry a modified social work case load, performing all the duties of a social worker as needed. This position requires self-direction, motivation, organization, and interpretation of information relating to a wide variety of policies, procedures, and programs. Critical decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Manager or Director. This position requires extensive internal contacts with staff, physicians, management; external contacts include outside service organizations and agencies, payors, post-acute providers, patients, and patient families.Requirements

Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $40.65 - $58.51 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
