Were seeking future team member for our team for the Vice President, IWM Portfolio Manager I role located in Boston, MA. Hybrid work available.

In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support the management of a large discretionary investment platform
  • Research and become an expert on the solutions offering across various asset classes and investment types.
  • Coordinate Investment Committee meetings to aid in the development, approval, and monitoring of investment solutions.
  • Partner with investment manager research and operational due diligence to ensure thorough and timely evaluations are completed.
  • Provide detailed reports and recommendations on manager research reports and investment solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with investment managers, ensuring effective communication and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Power our culture by collaborating with internal resources such as client facing Wealth Managers, compliance, legal, and risk.

To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:

  • Strong understanding of investment management and financial markets.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and manage complex projects.
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of investment experience preferred or over 2 years of investment experience preferred for MBAs or CFAs.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
  • As global firm, bi-lingual capabilities are helpful as is an understanding of local/cultural nuances important for client trust.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $87,600 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
