Marketing Coordinator

About the Job

HK Solutions Group is growing, and we're looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our in-house team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution-someone who's comfortable switching gears between designing a social post, analyzing campaign metrics, writing a blog draft, or prepping for a tradeshow. You'll play a key role in promoting HK's wide range of services across industrial, municipal, commercial, and residential markets.

As part of a collaborative marketing team, you, the Marketing Coordinator, will work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership to support internal and external communications, create consistent brand messaging, and help push our marketing efforts forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Experience in a marketing or communications role (internships count!) preferred
• Experience using:
  
  
  
  • Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Email marketing software (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.)
  • Website content management systems (WordPress or similar)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills, with a good grasp of grammar and tone
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, with great time management

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience shooting and editing videos for digital use

What You'll Do

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where you'll support both the strategy and execution of marketing efforts. Marketing Coordinator responsibilities include:

• Digital Content Creation - Develop and maintain content for HK's websites, email campaigns, and social channels. Write clear, engaging copy for posts, newsletters, blog articles, and internal communications.
• Graphic Design Support - Create visual assets for campaigns, events, and sales tools using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
• Video & Photo Content - Assist with on-site photo and video shoots; edit and prepare content for social media, web, or trade show use.
• Campaign Execution & Analysis - Support multi-channel marketing campaigns from kickoff to completion. Track performance metrics and provide input on how to improve outcomes.
• Project & Asset Management - Organize marketing assets and maintain internal tracking documents, calendars, and workflows to keep things running smoothly.
• Market Research & Competitive Analysis - Research industry trends and competitors to help inform strategy and develop talking points.
• Event Support - Help coordinate logistics and marketing materials for regional trade shows, lunch-and-learns, and other customer-facing events.
• Brand Management - Help reinforce brand guidelines and ensure messaging remains consistent across all platforms and teams.
