The University of Missouri School of Medicine Department of Psychology Division of The Center for Child Well-Being Job Description
The Center for Child Well-Being in the School of Medicine is seeking a coach to join the Early Childhood - Positive Behavioral Support (ECPBS) program. EC-PBS offers foundational trainings, onsite coaching, and parenting support groups to childcare programs in Boone County. The goal of the program is to increase caregivers' capacity to build relationships with children, promote social-emotional development, reduce challenging behaviors, and promote kindergarten readiness. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Shift
(expected/anticipated) Primarily Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm. Occasional evening and weekend hours to accommodate events in the community (approximately 3-5 times per month). Ability for daily travel to assigned Boone County childcare programs; other duties will be completed at the Center for Child Well-Being. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
* Experience as an early childhood educator with responsibilities including, but not limited to, caring for children, designing the classroom environment, planning activities, and family engagement. Anticipated Hiring Range
Hiring Range: $21.28 - $26.87 / hour Application Materials
