Job Summary

The Operations Specialist would be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support field operations within the group. These various tasks could include data entry, various operations workload execution management, and project conflict coordination. The Operations Specialist would be interacting with company external stake holders such as IDOT, CDOT and PCO on a regular basis. Operations specialist would have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular area, works under minimal supervision and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create permits orders within company workload management system
  • Update a variety of spreadsheets/SharePoint sites on a daily basis
  • Experience using Excel for daily assignment sheets
  • Resolving and investigating internal and external customer issues
  • Administrative tasks: restocking/ordering forms, office supplies, file documents
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, HSED, or GED
  • 5 + years - Standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • 5 + years - Identifying and implementing solutions to problems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and organized
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external customers

End Date: 04/25/2025

Pay Range Minimum: $27.97

Pay Range Maximum: $45.45

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
