Description

Performs the most highly skilled electronic, electrical, and mechanical technical tasks required to install, troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain a broad range of complex information technology systems and equipment such as desktop and laptops computers.

Qualifications

Required

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.
• Four (4) years of experience in information technology systems and equipment (electronic, electrical, and mechanical), two (2) years of which shall have been in a leadership role.
  • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
• Possession of an appropriate, valid motor vehicle operator's license with a good driving record.
• May be required to perform shift work, accept call-back overtime or regular overtime, and/or agree to assume a stand-by status.
• Knowledge of a broad array of procedures, practices, tools, test devices, and equipment involved in the operation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and repair of information technology systems and equipment (electronic, electrical, and mechanical).
• Ability to effectively lead teams in multiple projects.
• Ability to read, interpret and explain instructions, diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer's manuals.
• Ability to keep records and make reports using desktop administrative software.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

• Advanced training in electronics and/or data communications.

$64,645 - $109,122
