General Purpose: Under general supervision of Accounting Manager, this role performs a variety of accounting functions in the processing, verification, and maintenance of financial documents, records, and transactions. Specific job goals, objectives and tasks are established for each employee as part of the annual evaluation and work plan process. - Processes timely and accurate billing for each funder and maintain communication with the internal & external customers
- Follows up on collection of unpaid grants/contract receivables
- Coordinates contract reporting and provide follow-up on billing related items with internal departments
- Applies/submits all Accounts Receivable (AR) cash payments in accounting system
- Provides excellent customer service to internal and external colleagues and partners
- Conducts periodic self-audits for assigned accounts and prepare reports
- Verifies and process computerized reports and financial documents
- Assists other Finance departments including accounts payable and general ledger
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- No supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications and Necessary Requirements:
- EQUIVALENT combination of education and experience can meet minimum qualifications.
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
- LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Valid driver's license and proof of insurance that meets the minimum requirements ($100,000/$300,000) of RCAC corporate liability policy.
- EXPERIENCE: Two years of applicable experience. Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office programs.
- Must pass a background investigation.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn SharePoint and RCAC's web-based reporting software

Preferred Requirements:
- Associate's degree
- Customer service experience.

Evening and/or weekend work may be required.
