As a Security Professional - Education Sector in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Front Desk Officer in an educational setting, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment. Your primary responsibilities include managing access control, assisting visitors, and providing exceptional customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents by being a visible presence and utilizing your experience in access control and badge systems. This position requires a professional with at least two years of security experience and supervisory skills, who is registered with MD-SP and is over 21 years of age. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist in emergency response activities as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and manage visitor entry at the location.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with visitors and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
