The Clinical Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service. Supports the teams in meeting clinical and service goals.

This is for a full-time (40 hours/week) Telecommute position for Florida residents. The schedule is Monday through Friday an 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. The schedule will be determined by the supervisor. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for other team members
  • Resolve inquiries from team members and case managers
  • Completing special projects
  • Creating NABD letters and uploading them to the mailing system
  • Documentation into ICUE and Community Cares
  • Entering SharePoint entries
  • Faxing providers as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) or 4+ years of experience working within the healthcare industry or with health insurance
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF
  • Access to a designated quiet workspace in your home (separated from non-workspace areas) with the ability to secure Protected Health Information (PHI)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience solving customer problems
  • 2+ years of experience working in the health care industry
  • 2+ years of experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid Services
  • 2+ years of experience working with medical terminology
  • Prior work at home experience

The salary range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
