Your role in our success:

The Director of Strategic Planning & Analysis drives the company's long-term planning and data-driven decision-making. This leadership role is responsible for providing analytical insights and supporting executive leadership in shaping corporate strategy. The incumbent will utilize in-depth expertise in strategic planning and energy market analysis to develop and execute high-impact decision-making and strategic plans in a dynamic industry.

What you'll be working on:

Strategic Planning & Corporate Strategy



  • Lead the development of the company's strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with long-term corporate goals and market trends.
  • Support executive leadership in evaluating mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, conducting due diligence, and preparing strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain project onboarding process.


Market Intelligence & Industry Trends



  • Track energy market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics, translating insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Provide risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to economic, environmental, and geopolitical factors affecting the energy sector.
  • Lead research initiatives to evaluate the impact of emerging technologies (e.g., renewable energy, smart grids, energy storage) on business strategy.


Executive Reporting & Communication



  • Present high-level strategic insights to executive leadership, board members, and key stakeholders to guide business decisions.
  • Prepare executive reports, investor presentations, and board materials, ensuring clarity and data-driven recommendations.
  • Act as a strategic thought leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, regulatory affairs, and strategic development teams.
  • Drive innovation and foster a culture of agility within the organization


Leadership & Team Development



  • Build and lead a high-performing strategic planning and analysis team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Mentor and develop team members, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and professional growth.

Who you are:



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, or corporate strategy, preferably in the energy, utilities, or renewable energy sector.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with energy regulations and market policies.
  • Familiarity with environmental factors in strategic planning


Key Skills & Competencies



  • Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide strategic insight.
  • Strong ability to lead cross functional teams, communicate complex data effectively, and influence senior executives.
