Main Responsibilities:




  • Act as a single point of contact for customers providing pre- and post-sale activities for sales under a prescribed dollar amount and complexity



  • Collaborate and communicate with outside sales personal to ensure full coverage of customer needs



  • Proactively follow up on warm marketing leads and requested quotes for Service Business Line



  • Provide general information on all Service Products



  • Takes ownership of open territory and lapsed service customers to drive sales



  • Works with applications and tech support team to offer product alternatives to best meet customer requirements and support sales objectives.



  • Recognize that a customer of one product could also purchase other Leybold products and set up leads for new equipment, field service and service contract opportunities



  • Demonstrate proactive selling of Leybold service products. Identifies opportunities for expanding the sale through additional options and complimentary products



  • Maintains customer databases



  • Document customer activity using our CRM



  • Other duties as assigned

This position requires occasional travel for 10-20% of the position.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

Education level




  • B.S. degree in Engineering, other Technical discipline, business or marketing with a technical aptitude




Relevant Previous experience




  • Entry Level, 1-3 years of technical experience preferred



  • Vacuum equipment or selling of technical product experience a plus




Knowledge Areas/Skills




  • Excellent oral & written communication skills



  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products



  • Positive customer-focused attitude and successful interaction in a dynamic team environment is a must



  • Strong critical thinking skills



  • Attention to details and problem-solving abilities



  • Phenomenal teammate who is flexible and adaptable



  • A self-starter with strong work ethic




Other requirements




  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus



  • Valid driver's license.

Compensation:

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on everyone's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$78,206.90 - $100,198.35 in this state: CO

$78,206.90 - $100,198.35 in this state: CA

$85,679.20 - $108,911.25 in this state: WA
