PEMEX Deer Park is a highly complex refinery located 18 miles east of Houston in Deer Park, TX. It is part of the Pemex group, a fully integrated oil company in the Americas, working across the entire value chain: exploration, production, industrial processing/refining, logistics, and marketing. The refinery’s rated capacity is 340,000 barrels per day, and it has the feed flexibility to process multiple grades of crudes to produce the high-quality transportation fuels the world needs. The Pemex site is co-located with three other 3rd party chemical facilities, allowing for further integration and optimization of the refinery and its products. As the Central Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of 6 direct reports, including Maintenance Team Leads and a Lifting Specialist, within the Central Maintenance organization at the Pemex Deer Park Refinery. You will oversee and coordinate efforts supported by 25+ Pemex crafts and 100+ contractor support crafts. As a key member of the Maintenance Leadership team, you will collaborate to establish consistent direction and best practices across six Maintenance areas. You will rely on strong leadership, adaptability, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills to drive performance and alignment within this dynamic and complex environment.

To succeed, you must have:

• 10+ years of maintenance execution in a refinery, chemical plant, or similar industrial setting; prior supervision of a represented workforce is preferred.
• Technical degree preferred, with a background in Maintenance, Production, or Construction Execution.
• Proficient in SAP; strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-focused with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and functions.
• Familiarity with site-specific orders, procedures, policies, and work practices.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervise six direct reports and oversee 125+ company and contractor crafts, including represented workforce under the Pemex/USW CBA.
• Manage a $15MM+ operating budget and $25MM+ in maintenance/service spend; optimize resources across peer teams.
• Serve as primary contact for Unit Production Managers, Field Maintenance Supervisors, OMCs, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead planning and execution of field maintenance activities; track and report monthly performance metrics.
• Ensure timely compliance, maintain material availability, and drive quality improvements with external service providers.
