What you'll be doing...

You will be responsible for assisting project management teams in Verizon Business Group's enterprise and public sector teams with deal funnel and resource demand management, providing overall governance for project management tool use and compliance. You will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for presale organizations such as OPD/PSAT, finance, and sales. You'll participate in process engineering initiatives to improve pre and post sales process and resource modelling. You will have detailed knowledge of system dependencies and provide assistance to project managers using these systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Endorse policies for updating and maintaining systems to ensure data integrity. This includes, but is not limited to, nSAP, Clarity, Pega, Smartsheets, etc

  • Support end-to-end set-up of system frameworks - and related data elements - to enable PM project service delivery, including establishment of proper network codes for time allocation & reporting.

  • Assist and or develop & maintain collateral & training materials to ensure accuracy & global standardization in support of tools, project delivery

  • Interact with various internal business stakeholders, as required, to ensure proper training, successful support & rollout of initiatives

  • Care for Help Desk Function Support for Clarity and Pega

  • Monitor & support Slack channel for timely resolution of various issues & requests

  • Resource Deployment Manager Functions which include facilitating billable codes and assignments, supporting and governance on nSAP task assignment, proxy for and assisting with timesheet entry, issues and hour moves (tools SAP GUI, RDM Workspace, SFDC)

  • Project and resource administration in toolset; project set up, critical date management, PM resource assignment, audit projects at closure

  • Financial management support; milestone invoice trigger, network code closure, network code maintenance (Srvc Activation Date, Term Date)

  • Survey Admin Support

  • New Access - Approval in Tools: Clarity & Pega

  • Named Default Owner in Product Mapping Table - Clarity nSAP for Pub Sector ( SFDC Stage 3 trigger conditions to auto-xog, creates a project in Clarity. A default project owner is assigned based on a preset mapping table (PR4, region, practice area) with named resources. Receive & hold new projects auto-xog from SFDC until resource identified and assigned (clarity project manager) Default nSAP PM based on region / PR4 (Clarity nSAP code owner) until resource identified and assigned .

Where you'll be working...
In this hybrid role you'll have a defined work location of Cary, North Carolina that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Four or more years of experience as an IT project resource coordinator or IT Project Manager

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products including Powerpoint, Excel, and Word

  • Experience with Google suite including docs, sheets, slides

  • Experience managing and negotiating with internal and external organization

Even better if you also have...

  • Five or more years of Project Management experience with proven track record and experience with deploying and delivering complex solutions.

  • Experience communicating with a variety of stakeholders both verbal & written

  • Ability to foster relationships and present multiple levels of the business

  • Project Management financial business experience.

  • Experience with Telecommunication/IT Outsourcing.

  • Knowledge and experience with Clarity and Pega / Flow360

  • Knowledge of ITIL and PMI highly desirable
